Two major projects designed by Beca have won their categories at the 2008 New Zealand Engineering Excellence (NZEE) Awards - the Building and Construction category and the Sustainability and Clean Technology section.

Beca has appointed John Revington as its new Waikato Regional Manager in New Zealand. Beca has recently expanded in Hamilton to include a management services and industrial team, which complements the well-established infrastructure team.

Beca’s Planning team has been awarded a rare honour from the Resource Management Law Association of New Zealand (RMLA) in recognition of the quality of their consultancy for the Victoria Park Tunnel project.

Beca has developed an innovative series of illustrations to communicate the new Integrated Mission Support Squadron (IMSS) within the Royal New Zealand Air Force.

Robert Durrant was recently appointed Chairman of the Board of Beca Group Ltd (BGL) a role he takes over from Gavin Cormack. Robert (Bob), until recently Beca's MD International, officially took over the role on 1 September 2008.
