Beca Power's generation team designs efficient systems and complimentary infrastructure to generate power. Beca Power works closely with several other Beca discipline experts to develop new generation facilities and to optimise and refurbish existing plant. We have worked across a range of industries including generation companies, pulp and paper, mining, and the food and beverage sector.

We offer comprehensive, bespoke client services from feasibility studies, managing tendering processes, project management, through to detailed design, construction monitoring and commissioning services. We also undertake in-depth technical studies and investigations, covering a wide variety of power system topics from resource consenting and assessment of environmental effects through to protection analysis and power systems studies.

We work closely with our clients to assist them with practical and cost-effective solutions to their power generation needs. Our technical expertise and planning services have been used in a number of plant expansions, and our stringent project management and control during planning and execution is best illustrated through our success in time-critical projects.

Geography is no barrier to the projects we undertake. We work all over New Zealand and often work alongside local suppliers and contractors on international projects.
