AUT Students Win Beca Engineering Awards For Achievement

Two students from the Auckland University of Technology were awarded Beca-sponsored prizes for achievements in engineering study, in Auckland today.

Jeeha Kim has won the $500 Beca Award for Best Performance in the Bachelor of Engineering Technology (Mechanical Major), based on the results from his third and final year of study.

Kenny Bhosale has won the Beca Award for Best Performance in the Diploma in Electrotechnology, also worth $500, for his achievements in the second and final year of the Diploma.

Paul White, Managing Director of Beca International Holdings, and Jon Williams, General Manager of Beca’s Building Services division, wished both the students well in their studies and hoped the awards will highlight the ongoing need for top quality graduates in engineering-related disciplines.
