Shipping Companies
We have preferred supplier relationships with Crown Relocations, www.crownrelo.com and Allied Pickfords, www.alliedtoallied.com, both of whom provide a good all-round service. If you provide us with your address and phone number, they will contact you to arrange a quotation.
And don’t forget when shipping items that ships can take significant time to get here, so carefully pack urgently needed items - laptop, personal records, the kids' favourite toys - on the flight with you. You don’t want to be waiting for your phone book in order to call home and tell the family you’ve arrived!
In-transit Insurance
We can organise insurance for you through our company policy here in New Zealand. Our rates are often better value for money than the shippers can provide. For example, most shipping company insurance is 3-4% whereas we can negotiate rates at around 2%. All we need from you is a list of the items you plan to ship and their value.
If you’d like to arrange your own contents insurance, note that coverage provided by shipping companies is often only for total loss at sea, not damage, and it can pay to purchase comprehensive door-to-door cover from a reputable insurance broker. Agreed Value is best, with Replacement Value in New Zealand, not the UK, as this may differ significantly.
Shop around and carefully compare coverage, as some companies will not cover certain items (particularly antiques and electronics). It may be wise to have a professional company pack your belongings to minimise the risk of them being damaged in transit (insurance companies will often offer lower rates on professionally packed containers).

Air Tickets
Once you've decided when you will be flying to New Zealand we can help you with your flight plans. Prices vary according to the time of year and availability, and in some cases it is better if you purchase one-way tickets directly from your country of departure. However we do have preferred airline contracts with Singapore Airlines, Qantas and Air New Zealand.
Rental Cars
We have a preferred relationship with Avis Rental Cars, so if you need a rental car when you arrive in New Zealand, let us know and we can secure you the Beca rate.
