Beca’s office in central Wellington is large enough to allow you to work on significant projects yet small enough for you to get to know most of its 220 people by name.
The office covers all the main engineering disciplines including mechanical, electrical, structural, civil, environmental and fire engineers, as well as planners, surveyors, geographical information systems, systems analysts and project managers.
Recent projects include structural engineering, project management and design services for ‘The Rock’ buildings at Wellington International Airport, the major upgrade of State Highway 2 between Dowse Drive and Petone, and building services design and structural engineering services for the new Wellington Hospital. The team has also worked on numerous water and waste water projects in Fiji, project management and design for a Meridian Energy wind farm west of Wellington, structural, building services, fire and environmentally sustainable design (ESD) services as well as the tenancy fit-out for the BNZ Building, design services, ESD and GreenStar advice for the Meridian Energy Building, the Aorangi House building upgrade (where the Beca office is located), project management and design for a Meridian Energy wind farm west of Wellington and many more projects in New Zealand and around the world.
In the Wellington office there are plenty of experienced professionals, meaning you’ll have the opportunity to choose a mentor who can provide guidance and help you get orientated within the business. You’ll also enjoy the relaxed, interactive atmosphere of the office and the active social scene.
