Thomas has over 25 years of in depth experience in managing engineering consultancy businesses in various countries in Asia.
Thomas has extensive experience in civil and structural engineering in Asia.
As Deputy Managing Director of Beca Carter Hollings and Ferner (SEA) Pte Ltd, Singapore, Thomas was responsible for all aspects of the company’s operation in Singapore and the region as well as overseeing the Civil and Structural division.
Thomas was appointed Deputy Managing Director of Beca Asia Holdings in July 2006 with a strong operational oversight of the Beca China business.
Besides his 30 years of experience in structural engineering covering a wide spectrum of buildings including high-rise office towers with deep basement, Thomas also has special interests in contracts administration and construction arbitration. He is a qualified adjudicator under the Singapore Security Payment Acts. Thomas has over 25 years of in depth experience in managing engineering consultancy businesses in various countries in Asia.
Prior to joining Beca, Thomas was a Director, Managing Director and ultimately Chairman of international engineering consultancy Oscar Faber Consultants in charge of the company’s operations in Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand.
