Working in an Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management (EPCM) role, Beca completed services on a Dumpling Plant for General Mills in Shanghai.
Beca helped the client with site selection, feasibility, a definition study and then managed the detailed design of the building, refrigeration, utilities and treatment plants. A combination of Beca local and expatriate engineers, working closely with the client's engineering and operations team, co-ordinated smoothly to manage the local contractors, suppliers and vendors. The team completed a difficult project which met the tight time frame and budget constraints.
